Homemade Applesauce

I did it!!! I finally made applesauce. I thought it was going to be more difficult then it was but man who was I kidding... it was a piece of cake!
Here's what I did.

I used three apples (i was going to use four but the fourth one was bad see below) I peeled them and then cut them with an apple slicer (much much easier)

This is my bad apple :(

After you peel and slice stick them in the pan with about 1/4 cup of water (I would add more if you had more apples) bring water to boil and then cover and simmer

Wait till they are cooked all the way through and then mash (i didn't wait long enough to mash them- it doesn't hurt the applesauce it just makes it chunkier)

After you mash them you can leave it plan or add cinammon and sugar
(I add cinammon and sugar)

Three apples doesn't make that much applesauce but I just want to try it before I used a whole bunch of apples. My next project is Apple Butter (and I am going to can them... mmmmm good)
